What is Glide?

Glide is a dockless scooter sharing company that provides convenient urban transportation when you need it, without the parking or emissions.

How do I download the app?

Go to your app store and search “Glide”

How do I find a Glide near me?

Open the app and click “Map”

How do I unlock a Glide?

Once you have a scooter in front of you, open the app and tap “Unlock.” You can either scan the QR code on the handlebar or enter the 6-digit code by hand.

Where can I ride a Glide?

Use bike lanes when available, if not, ride along the right curb of the road or sidewalks if permitted by local law.

Be considerate to pedestrians when riding a Glide, give them the right of way.

Never Glide into crowded areas, walk until it is safe to Glide again.

Where can I park a Glide?

A Glide should always be parked upright, securely, using the kickstand in the down position.

A Glide should always be parked on the sidewalk out of the way of pedestrian traffic close to the edge of the sidewalk and when possible near a bike rack or using a designated drop zone.

A Glide should never be parked in an alley, public park, plaza, or small sidewalks.

A Glide should never block ADA accommodations, fire hydrants, or building entrances.

How much does it cost to ride?

The cost to ride a Glide is $1 to start and minute by minute rates vary by locations, arriving faster and costing a fraction of a taxi or rideshare.

How do I pay for my ride?

Before you can ride a Glide, visit the “Wallet” section in the Glide app. Select the amount you would like to add to your Glide wallet, click “Add Money”, and enter your credit card information. When your ride has ended, the amount you owe will be deducted from your Glide wallet.

How do I end my ride?

Open the app and click “End Ride.” Please note, you must be standing next to the scooter for your ride to end. This will mark the location of the scooter and complete the transaction. Always verify that your ride has ended, you will be taken back to the “Map” once your ride has been properly completed. Until a ride has been ended correctly you are responsible for all charges.

How far can I ride the Glide scooters?

The current perimeter for Glide scooters, illustrated on the map below, extends from the Santa Fe border crossing to Executive Center and includes downtown El Paso and the Cincinnati District.

WHAT ARE THE RULES FOR GLIDING?

Must be 18 years and older to Glide.

Must have a valid driver’s license to Glide.

Must follow all traffic rules including street signs, signals, and markings.

Must obey all local traffic laws.

No stunt riding.

One rider per Glide.
